Girl's Get Away Cruise

We just got back from the 2009 Girl's Get Away Cruise hosted by Premier Christian Cruises. We were very honored to be asked to speak and this time we got to use the "big stage". Don't worry, God kept us humble as I got sea sick right in the middle of the show and had to run off backstage and make use of the "barf bags" the cruise line so graciously provides. Hey, we pride ourselves on being just ordinary women trying to serve the Lord. Anyway, I returned and as the saying goes, the show must go on and it did! Melissa held on her own for a few minutes. Next time I bet she pays attention when I tell her I am sick!

But really, we had such fun getting to meet and share with women from all over the United States. Not to mention the really "famous" speakers and musicians that were there. We now have about 1800 new best friends.

So, start saving your money and go with us next Feb 2010 as we set sail from Jacksonville, FL with a another great line up of speakers and singers. Hey, Jesus taught from a boat several times and The Spa Girls will try to follow His example.

Travis Avenue - Come Sail Away

We had so much fun at the Travis Avenue Baptist Church's Women's Retreat 2009. Those gals really know how to throw a party. The theme for the weekend was Sailing Away on a Cruise and they had all the events and decorations to go with it. Great music, great food and a wonderful place to spend the weekend. We got a chance to share a little bit about our personal lives as well as our signature presentation, Spa Cents. Lisa P. was the retreat/cruise director and we met her and her mom on the 2007 Premier Christian Cruise. Lisa and her mom saw our show and booked us to come to their church for their 2009 Retreat. Now that is advanced planning. Thanks Lisa for a great retreat!
